GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA — MAY 19, 2026  — Rygen Technologies, a cloud-native software provider that simplifies transportation management through Corsair TMS, system integrations through the X1 Integration Platform, and supply chain intelligence through Blackbird for shippers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs), today announced it has achieved ISO/IEC 42001 certification — the first internationally recognized standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS). The certification was awarded by DEKRA following an independent audit of Rygen’s AI governance, risk management, and compliance framework.

ISO 42001 establishes requirements for the design, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI systems. Certification confirms that Rygen’s AI governance framework is not only documented but actively enforced across the full lifecycle of its systems, ensuring consistent oversight, accountability, and performance.

As AI adoption accelerates across logistics and freight technology, many solutions are deployed without formal governance frameworks or independent validation, increasing risk for shippers and 3PLs. Rygen’s certification provides independent assurance that a structured, auditable framework governs its AI systems. “Our customers need to trust the technology supporting their operations,” said Warren Patterson, Chief Executive Officer at Rygen Technologies. “This certification provides that assurance by demonstrating that our AI is governed, auditable, and built with accountability at its core.”

“AI is becoming foundational to how freight operations run, not just an added feature,” said Tony Winters, Chief Technology Officer at Rygen Technologies. “ISO 42001 validates that we’ve built accountability into our systems from the start, giving customers confidence in how AI performs in real-world operations.”
